Saving Animals in Michigan from Euthanasia
In an average year, more than 100,000 pets are euthanized in shelters across Michigan. While the overall save rate of animals in our state is widely agreed to be over 75%, most shelters are only able to save between 15% – 35% of sheltered animals. Nearly all of the rest are euthanized.
Noffsinger Insurance Agencies is concerned by these statistics, and we are launching an emergency campaign to help rescue pets in the Grand Rapids area that have been orphaned, abused, or neglected.
Promoting Positive Pet Guardianship
As Regional Ambassadors for the #AgentsofChange movement in western Michigan, the Noffsinger Insurance team is dedicated to safeguarding orphaned pets in our area. We will be working to support local programs that encourage pet adoption, promote responsible pet ownership, and seek to improve access to free or reduced cost spaying and neutering services for pet guardians in Grand Rapids.
With thousands of pets in our community facing euthanasia, we need your help to spread the word about this campaign.
Help us Rescue Abandoned Pets
The best way to share information about this campaign is to invite your loved ones and close friends into Noffsinger Insurance Agency for a free insurance consultation. While they’re here, we will provide them with details on our campaign to help find new homes for orphaned animals. Afterward, we will happily send a donation IN YOUR NAME to one of the pet rescue or adoption programs in our area that help provide new homes for orphaned animals.
